But what are the news of the very first and much anticipated smartwatch?

Google continues with this video its launch campaign of the long-awaited Pixel Watch, whose arrival on the market has been confirmed in October 2022, at least as regards the US market.
Some details that have not escaped the most attentive, is its particular aesthetics: Google has paid close attention to the aesthetic side and its ease of use. The silicone strap makes it very comfortable to wear.
The case, slightly rounded at the bottom, has a distinctly rounded design that gives the smartwatch a streamlined and elegant aesthetic at the same time.
Another detail that emerges is the particular closure of the strap and its colors whose variants are yellow/ green (Hazel Lemongrass), white/ beige (Chalk), gray (Charcoal) and black (Obsidian).
Google Pixel Watch: great display customization
In addition to the specific design, of course, the smartwatch presents many technological innovations.
The first thing that catches the eye is the presence of a rotating crown and a customizable display with seven options that include 4 analog solutions and 3 digital solutions.
To sum up, Google Pixel Watch display main features are:
- a “simple” analog display;
- an analog display with only heart rate indicator;
- an analog display with three slots to indicate temperature, calendar and heart rate;
- an analog display with the presence of Google Assistant;
- an “essential” digital display with the time shown on two lines;
- a digital display with the presence of 3 slots;
- a full-screen digital display with a second ring inside.
Google Pixel Watch: technical features
Google Pixel Watch has a 41mm stainless steel case, 12.3cm thick and 36g heavy. It has support for magnetic charging with a 294 mAh battery capable of guaranteeing one day of use and, in addition, it recharges to 50% in 30 minutes.
On board this watch we find the Samsung Exynos 9110 at 10 nm with Cortex M33 processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. The display is a 1.4-inch AMOLED and the screen protector is Corning Gorilla Glass 3D.
Pixel Watch is able to monitor sleep, heart rate, blood oxygenation and can also perform an ECG thanks to the dedicated application. In addition, the device is waterproof and allows diving up to 50 meters deep.
How much does it cost
The product differs in two versions with two slightly different prices:
- Google Pixel watch costs $349 (€ 379 ) with WI-FI, GPS, Bluetooth configuration;
- the LTE-compatible version has a price of $399 (€ 429).
