1. National Library of Israel, Jerusalem, Israel

The building has wind turbines and a facility for solar energy production. In fact, it generates 20 percent more energy than it consumes.

3. Abrahamic Family House, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Abrahamic Family House is one of the most unique secular buildings not only in Abu Dhabi but also in the entire world. Even though more than 70 percent of people in the country are Muslim, this building has worshipping facilities for Muslims, Christians, and Judaism. The building has a secular pavilion, and the three pillars of religion stand in an aesthetic harmony. 

4. Merdeka 118, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Standing as the world’s second tallest building, just after the iconic Burj Khalifa in Dubai, Merdeka 118 is more than 2000 feet in height. It is also on the list of the world’s four mega-tall skyscrapers. Fender Kastalidis says that the designer has taken inspiration from Malaysian arts and crafts before deciding on the glasswork. 

5. Nordø, Copenhagen, Denmark

Spread over an area of more than 25 thousand square meters, this building is one of the most innovative buildings of 2023. With its sophistication and multi-use facility, the building is apt for dynamic office purposes. The facade module filters daylight, and there is a system for filtration and circulation of water through local ways. Also, the atrium serves as a huge greenhouse.
